Our Philosophy
We can boil down our philosophy into five main beliefs that all conveniently start with the letter C:
Craft
As lovers of craft, we want to bring our neighborhood access to the highest-quality adult beverages available from independent small producers. When it comes to the beer we serve, we brew it all on site, where we’re ultimately accountable to our guests for its quality and freshness.
Convenience
We want to bring the craft to the people where they live. You shouldn’t need a car to drink craft beer and wine on the same day. By building in the neighborhood, we’re only steps from your door.
Comfort
Most craft breweries today have a warehouse feel, and most wineries share a farmhouse aesthetic. While we understand the economics behind this, we’re not kids anymore and we think it’s time for lovers of craft adult beverages to have a space that’s welcoming, comfortable, and all grown up.
Choice
Some breweries these days have wine, but it’s often an afterthought and mass produced. And good luck finding a craft beer at a local winery. Sure, you can get anything you want at a bar, but they’re not producers and it’s a stretch to consider most of what they serve as craft products. Lovers of the craft beverage experience shouldn’t have to choose, and we wanted to build a space where they don’t have to.
Community
We don’t just work here we live in the neighborhood. Our guests are our neighbors, and we want to create a space where those neighbors can gather and get to know each other on a personal level. We firmly believe in the power of community and strive to build that under our roof, on our street, and in our city.
